My Passion: Life on the Water.
Salt water runs through my veins.
Life on the water has shaped me for more than three decades—not only professionally, but personally. It has taken me around the world, introduced me to extraordinary people and taught me one of the most valuable lessons of my career:
The greatest achievements are never created alone.
Over the years, my passion has evolved from simply building exceptional ships to helping people and organisations turn ambitious visions into reality.
Today, I am just as passionate about the people behind every successful project as I am about the ships themselves. Because in the end, great ships are built by people who share a common vision, trust one another and work towards the same goal.
Whether sailing, swimming, diving or simply standing on the deck of a ship, the ocean continues to inspire me. It reminds me every day why I chose this industry—and why I still love being part of it.
Highlights
Outside of work
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me in, on or near the water. I enjoy swimming, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, diving and waterskiing. I also enjoy playing golf and spending time cooking with friends and family.
And yes… I still go on cruises. These days, preferably on expedition ships—because curiosity has always been part of who I am.
